WASHINGTON The Sunday Forum: Critical Issues in the Light of Faith is a weekly program of honest, intellectually probing, and generous-spirited dialogue about major issues of our time as seen from the Christian perspective.
What: Each Sunday, Cathedral Dean Sam Lloyd and his guests wrestle with pressing topics such as environmental stewardship, the role of faith in politics, religious pluralism, personal ethics, global justice, and faith in a changing culture.
Audience members and online viewers pose questions to the featured guest in the second half of the conversation.
On Sunday, February 24, Jim Wallis, internationally recognized author, activist, public theologian and founder of Sojourners, Christians for peace and justice, will be Dean Sam Lloyds guest.
Wallis most recent book is The Great Awakening: Reviving Faith & Politics in a Post-Religious Right America. His previous book, Gods Politics: Why the Right Gets It Wrong and Left Doesnt Get It, was on the New York Times bestseller list for four months.
