10am — 4pm (*last tour begins at 3:15 p.m.)

Wisconsin and Massachusetts Avenues, N.W.

Washington National Cathedral’s 2002 Open House will feature food, entertainment, and unique “behind the scenes” tours, including the Central Tower Climb — which is offered only twice a year. Children can ride the All Hallows Guild Carousel, listed on the National Historical Register, watch a puppet show, and paint flowerpots. Birthday cake also will be offered to celebrate the Cathedral’s 94th birthday.

Special guests will be confirmed in the near future.

Evensong concludes the day at 4 p.m. Open House is free; some activities have small fees. A free shuttle bus will run between Tenleytown Metro and the Cathedral from 9:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Please call (202) 537-3129 for more information.
