The Big Questions in Science & Religion author Keith Ward is November 9th Sunday Forum Guest

Dean Sam Lloyd and British theologian and philosopher Keith Ward will explore the relationship between science and religion and address arguments against religion during a public forum this Sunday, November 9, at Washington National Cathedral.

The Rev. Professor Keith Ward is also an Anglican priest. From 1991 to 2004, Dr. Ward was Regius Professor of Divinity at Oxford University in England, and is a Fellow of the British Academy. Among Dr. Ward’s many interests are the dialogue between religions and the relationship between science and religion. The author of over 20 books on theology and philosophy, Dr. Ward’s most recent publications are Is Religion Dangerous? (2007) and The Big Questions in Science and Religion (2008).

The Sunday Forum: Critical Issues in the Light of Faith is a weekly program of honest and intellectually probing dialogue about major issues of our time. The 50-minute conversation includes questions from live and online audiences and is held between Sunday morning services, beginning at 10:10 am.

As a church for national purposes, Washington National Cathedral welcomes people of all faiths and none to participate.
